Issue 27
Ever owned a Radiohead album? Almost as well known for their music is the artwork that wraps around their CD’s. Stanley Donwood, the man responsible these impressive pieces, was kind enough to give us a seven page interview as well as a back catalogue of his work in issue 27. We hit the road with Julian Casablanca’s while he was on his recent Australian tour; we also have coffee with Harmony Korine in New York and unveil some amazing pieces by Williamsburg artist Wes Lang. Monster Children 27 is privileged to have seminal photographer Joseph Szabo as a contributor with his images of Jones Beach and Rolling Stones concerts from the late 70’s. As well as amazing photography from our man from way back Ari Marcopoulos, you can get a lesson in balding from our senior writer Vaughan Dead, learn what Andy Jenkins’ is up to tomorrow and find out the music that influenced the sound of James Lavelle’s musical project UNKLE. All this stuff and a bunch more rambling from us in issue 27. Go buy one now… do it.
